The Flower Challenge #18 Reminder

Welcome back to The Flower Challenge. It's the midway point in our current challenge and here is a reminder. It's an easy one again this month and....... 'Anything Goes'.

It would be great if you could add our cue card above when entering our challenge. Of course most of all......have fun !

See all of our DT cards as the two digital images used will also be the prize this month. So we do hope you will take part to be in with a chance of winning ;)

We only allow 6 other challenges as well as our own. A few people have not noticed that and will be ruled out of being a winner this time. It always makes us sad that someone will miss out so please READ OUR SIMPLE RULES in the tab above.

The Flower Challenge #18 'Anything Goes'

Welcome to The Flower Challenge! This is the challenge that celebrates cards using floral images. Our challenge for March is an easy one again........'Anything Goes'.

We also have a prize for the Winner this time to give away too !...all details below.

First though I have some news about our Design Team. We are losing our lovely DT member Ruth, she is very busy with her young family and juggling a job too just now. So she has reluctantly stepped down from her design team commitments including ours.

She will be very much missed by us all,but we wish her well and hope she pops back to see us often. That leaves us with a space for another team member now of course.

If anyone would like to join us as a team member please leave the letters DTR... (design team request) after your name on your card entry please. We are a small but very friendly group and I am sure you will love joining our amazing team. A love of using flowers on your cards is a must of course ;)

This month we are very lucky to have one of our previous sponsors back again. The very talented EunJi Jung from DotBstamp has two of her amazing floral digital images to give to our lucky Winner this time. They are also her latest two releases for this month !

Here they are below if you want to see a preview. Of course there won't be watermarks on yours if you wish to purchase them. Aren't they soo gorgeous ! 

Please note some people are not following our simple rules and will be disqualified from winning a prize this time sadly. See above tab for more info. Only 6 challenges as well as ours, pre coloured images only... not allowed if there are no self coloured flowers and flowers must be the MAIN image. Please read our rules before leaving a card.

The Flower Challenge 'Picks for the Month of February'

  Now comes the hardest part of the Challenge. 

                           

    We decided we didn't want to use the Random Picker as it was felt

    that cards should be chosen for a number of reasons not 'luck of the draw'.

            When we look at the cards entered we are each drawn to different styles,

          techniques and designs. So all the design team have input, each has been

      asked to pick out three cards that stand out to them and why.

         The cards getting the most votes will then be posted on our Winners post

           and the other cards will be listed under Top Pick and Honourable Mention.

This month we would like to see you do some 'Paper Piecing' on your cards. Please note it's PAPER PIECING and not paper piercing!  So add some patterned paper to part of your image. If in doubt, see what our Design Team have made below.

Also please remember to use your FLORALS and they must be the MAIN image on your card. 

If you care to visit our various DT blogs you will hopefully see a few of our best cards from 2017 too. Don't forget to leave them some comment love if you do. They all work so hard making all the cards for our challenges to inspire you all  ;)

Also note that it's Paper PIECING and NOT Paper Piercing. So easy to confuse the two, I know I have in the past ! (So add some patterned paper to part of your image.) That's how I see it anyway, look at our examples to guide you as always if you are unsure.
