The Flower Challenge #66 Reminder
Welcome back to The Flower Challenge. It's the midway point in our current challenge
which is....
It would be great if you could add our cue card above when entering our challenge.
Of course most of all....have fun! So this month we would like to see you 'Use Scraps' on your cards, as well as the usual FLOWERS of course too. We all have those little pieces of card on our desk we didn't use. Now is the time to search them out ! If in any doubt see the examples made by our talented Design Team below!
Our showcase will be announced in the usual manner, the day before the next challenge.

Please don't forget to use your Florals as always and as the MAIN feature on your card.
Only 6 other challenges allowed as well as our own.
Also please take a few minutes to read our rules in the tab above as you may lose out on winning a prize sometimes too. Bought flowers or ones just cut out from design paper alone are NOT allowed. If in any doubt please do ask.
With all the terrible things going on in Ukraine and seeing as we are a Flower challenge we are using this sunflower heart and the blue and yellow colours to show our support. Some of us will also be using a temporary watermark with a sunflower too. Sending much love and our prayers for everyone in Ukraine.

The Flower Challenge #66 Use Scraps
Welcome to The Flower Challenge! This is the challenge that celebrates cards using floral images. Our challenge for March is ...
It would be great if you could add our cue card above when entering our challenge.
Of course most of all....have fun! So this month we would like to see you 'Use Scraps' on your cards, as well as the usual FLOWERS as of course too. We all have those little pieces of card etc. on our desk we didn't use. Little bits or snippets you had left over when making cards. Sentiments, die cuts , stamped images we didn't get around to colouring, bits of a background we weren't sure about.
Now is the time to search them out. If in any doubt see the examples made by our talented Design Team below using all the bits they found ! Just make sure you add FLOWERS.

The Flower Challenge Winner and Picks for the Month of February 2022
Now comes the hardest part of the Challenge.
We decided we didn't want to use the Random Picker as it was felt
that cards should be chosen for a number of reasons not 'luck of the draw'.
When we look at the cards entered we are each drawn to different styles,
techniques and designs. So all the design team have input, each has been
asked to pick out three cards that stand out to them and why.
The cards getting the most votes will then be posted on our Winners post
and the other cards will be listed under Top Pick and Honourable Mention.
The votes were so close this time, we hope you agree with our choices.
The Winner for our February challenge was......drum roll...
No #77 Nancy Penir
Wow !...stunning 3d flower, it almost leaps off the page.
A very popular winner.

That gorgeous lilac flower looks just amazing. Love the
pretty swirl of leaves in the background too.
Another beautiful card here, glorious colouring on the flowers
it's just superb. The silver embossing finishes the card off so
well too.
