So this month we would like to see you use a sentiment on your card, as well as the usual FLOWERS of course too.

Please don't forget to use your Florals as always and as the MAIN feature on your card.
Only 6 other challenges allowed as well as our own.

Also please take a few minutes to read our rules in the tab above as you may lose out on winning a prize sometimes too. Just using bought flowers or ones just cut out from design paper are NOT allowed. If in any doubt please do ask.

The Flower Challenge #50 'Use a Sentiment'

Welcome to The Flower Challenge! This is the challenge that celebrates cards using floral images. Our challenge for November is ...

It would be great if you could add our cue card above when entering our challenge.
Of course most of all....have fun!

We would like to see you use a sentiment on your cards this month, as well as the usual FLOWERS of course too. If in any doubt see the examples made by our talented Design Team below!

Our showcase will be announced in the usual manner, the day before the next challenge.

Please note that you can find us on facebook and also Instagram too. Our Instagram page is @theflowerchallenge2...remember the 2 at the end ;) All links in sidebar!

As we have had a few new Design Team members lately I thought it about time we had an updated graphic with all of the team on it. Wow...so proud of our little team, so many amazing card makers here now too, I am sure you all agree! Well done Flower Ladies and keep on inspiring everyone :)

Our Guest Designer this month is Enna, do check out her blog if you have a minute as she makes such fabulous cards.

The challenge closes on the 25th of the month at 5pm. but we will be back on the 15th with some more inspiration. We will announce the challenge winners the day before the start of the next challenge. Have fun crafting!

The Flower Challenge Winner and Picks for the Month of October 2020

Now comes the hardest part of the Challenge.

We decided we didn't want to use the Random Picker as it was felt
that cards should be chosen for a number of reasons not
 'luck of the draw'.

When we look at the cards entered we are each drawn to different styles,
techniques and designs. So all the design team have input, this month we
had SEVEN PRIZES to give away to our SEVEN lucky winners.

So all  the DT have been asked to pick out SEVEN winning cards that
stand out to them and why. As luck would have it, we all picked
out exactly seven winners this month, how clever is that!

The cards getting the most votes are posted on our Prize Winners
post below. You are all a WINNER this time.

Please email us at  theflowerchallenge @gmail.com within 7 days
to claim your prize. Otherwise it will be allocated to someone else.

See our October post for a list of all the prizes HERE

So many fabulous entries this time, we really struggled to
narrow them down for our showcase again.
Anyway here are the ones we chose this time below, hope
you agree with our choices ;)

So ...drum roll...here is who won the prizes!

The Winners for our October challenge were

(Listed by most votes this month, the top three got
most, the rest got the same votes)

No #20 Karen Brown

The textured circles look amazing and the pretty flowers
and colouring were a real hit with us all!

No #27 Swapna

How beautiful this card looks with the clever use of  vellum
and the grey monochrome look also.

No #33 Enna

Great modern slimline card, love the bright circles of
flowers and touches of gold too on the dramatic black
background.

No #15 Conil

Another clever card using circles, love the pastel flowers
and overall design too.

No #18 Jenny Martin

Perfect clean looking CAS card, love the embossed circles
and gorgeous flowers too.

No #30 Gloria Lee
Such a happy looking card, so bright and cheerful!
Lots of circles too so really fitted our brief, gorgeous
colouring on the flowers  esp. too.

No #38 Kailash
Another clever card, love how the circles were added
and the bright flowers and colour combo really make
 the card pop too.

Congratulations and don't forget to grab your badge below.
