Welcome to The Flower Challenge! This is the challenge that celebrates cards using floral images. Our challenge for August is.....
It would be great if you could add our cue card above when entering our challenge.
Of course, most of all.... have fun! So, this month we would like to see you add some Spots or Stripes to your card, as well as the usual FLOWERS of course too. If in any doubt, see the examples made by our talented Design Team below!
Our showcase will be announced in the usual manner, the day before the next challenge.

Please don't forget to use your Florals as always and as the MAIN feature on your card.

Also please take a few minutes to read our rules in the tab above as you may lose out on winning a prize sometimes too. Bought flowers or ones just cut out from design paper alone are NOT allowed. If in any doubt please do ask.
We have some news to share also today, after almost seven years of running this fabulous challenge, Aileen and myself (Viv) have made the sad decision to leave.
We had intended to close it... but luckily Karren (who helped Aileen at the very start) and is our Guest Designer this month too has thrown us a lifeline and kindly agreed to continue with it with a few changes. Thank you so much Karren we are beyond grateful to you!!
A couple of changes to the DT too... TaeEun sadly left us last month and Cara will be leaving us after October also. We will miss you both, thank you for all the fabulous cards made over the years!!!
I and my OH have had various health issues during the last few years and Aileen has had a few problems of her own too.
We both love the challenge with a passion BUT we also realize we would have to leave at some point in the future. We both agreed now is the time.
I have made the decision to continue running things until our seventh birthday in October, Aileen will still be making cards until Oct also. Karren will of course be running things from then on ;) I am certain she will do an amazing job also!
So, I hope you understand our reasons for leaving soon and will continue joining in with all our fabulous challenges in the future. I am sure you will see us all again in the gallery at some point too.
Also please stick around for our Seventh Birthday in October!
