The Flower Challenge 'Picks for the Month of November'

Hi everyone. 

  It's been another amazing month here at The Flower Challenge and we have 
been blown away once more with all the support given to us in our 
second card Challenge.

We would like to say a special thank you to all those who have become
 followers of the Challenge and all the beautiful cards that have been linked up.   
 Now comes the hardest part of the Challenge. 

We decided we didn't want to use the Random Picker as it was felt
 that cards should be chosen for a number of reasons not 'luck of the draw'

When we look at the cards entered we are each drawn towards different 
 styles, techniques and designs. So all the design team have input,
 each has been asked to pick out three cards that stand out to them and why.


 The cards getting the most votes will be featured on our winners post
 and the other cards will then be listed under 'Top Pick' and 'Honourable Mention'.

The Flower Challenge #2 Theme 'Occasion'

Welcome to The Flower Challenge!  

If you joined us last month you know we had a fantastic start with over 130 entries.

This is the challenge that celebrates cards using floral images.

Here are the guidelines for the challenge:

1. You can use any floral stamp or digital image; die cuts or stencil you like, but remember it needs to be the main feature of the project, not a little add on.

2.  When using digital images they must be line art that have been coloured by hand.

3.  Please do a link back to your blog post and not your entire blog

4.  Please don’t link to postings prior to the date of the challenge.

5.  Add our Challenge banner above.

6.  You may enter up to 5 times but each entry must be different, follow the theme of the challenge and new. Please no back linking.

7. You may enter up to 6 other challenges. Please be respectful of this and be aware that your entry will be deleted if it is not following any of our rules. If you don't have a blog feel free to use a Flickr Gallery or other online gallery for your project. Just copy the URL location of your card in your gallery and add it to the Inlinkz.

8.  Please turn off Word Verification for ease of commenting on your blog

9.  Also please respect copyright, do not use images that have been copied without the manufacturer or designer's consent !! Any entries found to breach copyright will be deleted.
Please comment on at least 3 other projects in the challenge.

10. Most important of all is make sure you have fun.

The challenge closes on the 25th of the month at 5pm, but we'll be back on the 15th with some more inspiration!    We will announce our challenge winners the day before the start of the next Challenge.  Have fun crafting!

Never in all our imagination did we expect to get so many entries. We thought setting up the blog was hard but now has come the hardest part of the Challenge.

The Winner for this month is

I can honestly say it was an overwhelming vote

for this card. The watercolouring of this flower is stunning

and if you enlarge the image you can see all the different

colours involved here. Then the idea of partial cutting the

 image and adding a bit of sky and grass colour is

brilliant. Finished off perfectly with the sentiments and

clear sequins.
