The Flower Challenge #47 Reminder

Welcome back to The Flower Challenge. It's the midway point in our current challenge and here is a reminder. This month our theme for August is 'Add Sparkle'

It would be great if you could add our cue card above when entering our challenge. Of course most of all......have fun !

So this month we would like to see some 'Sparkle' on your cards, such an easy ask I think!
See all the examples by the DT if in any doubt.

Please don't forget to use your Florals as always and as the MAIN feature on your card.

Only 6 other challenges allowed as well as our own.

Also please take a few minutes to read our rules in the tab above as you may lose out on winning a prize sometimes too.Bought flowers or ones just cut out from design paper are NOT allowed. If in any doubt please do ask.

The Flower Challenge #47 Add Sparkle

Welcome to The Flower Challenge! This is the challenge that celebrates cards using floral images. Our challenge for August is .....

An easy one I think for this month. If in any doubt see the examples made by our talented Design Team below!

Our showcase will be announced in the usual manner, the day before the next challenge.

On a sadder note today I have to report we are losing one of our original DT members Karen.

As we are such a close group in our DT (it really does feel like family) we hate to lose anyone and so we will miss her terribly.

She is such a talented card maker and good friend to us all too, Karen you will be so sadly missed. We all wish her well of course and hope she will visit us in our gallery sometimes in the future also. See Karen's last card for us below!

The Flower Challenge Winner and Showcase for July 2020

Now comes the hardest part of the Challenge.

We decided we didn't want to use the Random Picker as it was felt

that cards should be chosen for a number of reasons not
'luck of the draw'.

When we look at the cards entered we are each drawn to different styles,

techniques and designs. So all the design team have input, each has been
asked to pick out three cards that stand out to them and why.

The cards getting the most votes will then be posted on our Winners post

and the other cards will be listed under Top Pick and Honourable Mention.

As usual there were so many fabulous cards, we struggled to
narrow them down for our showcase again. We do seem to
agree on which we all like in the end luckily though so that helps.
Anyway here are the ones we chose this time below, hope
you agree with our choices ;)
