The Flower Challenge #5 'CASE our Guest Designer'

Welcome to The Flower Challenge!
  This is the challenge that celebrates cards using floral images. 
 Our challenge for February is  to CASE our Guest Designer: THERESE

CASE (meaning Copy & Share Everything) 

You may decide to copy it exactly, but CASE-ing 
is generally meant to give you inspiration. 
 Here are just a few options you can try:
 
Just match the colour combo.
Change the theme/sentiment.
Flip it horizontally.
Match how they used an embellishment.
Try the technique they taught.
Use their card as a “sketch” to start with.

Anyway please state how you CASED the card here
 so we are in no doubt what inspired you.


This is the beautiful card made by Therese, we hope you
will join in and do your own version of it. 

 Btw. there is a video here by Therese on her blog showing
just how she made her card.

 

Not only do we have Therese from Lost in Paper as our Guest Designer,
but we have another person joining us too....but more about that later.




Therese is probably one person I have known in the card making industry
longer than anyone else as we date back to me stalking her in my
 pre-blogging days and when she was doing DT stuff for Annabelle's
 designs here in Australia.

Always so quick to share ideas, help with suggestions and the most
 amazing videos on YouTube.


 We would also like to welcome a new Design Team member. TaeEun
 from  'Rainbowinnovember' has agreed to join us. See her Bio in the
tab above where you can see details of all of our team members.

 TaeEun and I have shared a friendship over the  last year that 
 often feels like it has been many years chatting back and forth.
 She is such a natural floral artist, she will be a true inspiration
 for us all.

I am going to leave it to both ladies to introduce themselves
to you more in their own blog post to give you time to browse.

The Flower Challenge 'Picks for the Month of January'

Hi everyone. 

  It's been another amazing month here at The Flower Challenge and we have 
been blown away once more with all the support given to us in our 
fourth card Challenge.

   

     Now comes the hardest part of the Challenge. 

We decided we didn't want to use the Random Picker as it was felt
 that cards should be chosen for a number of reasons not 'luck of the draw'

When we look at the cards entered we are each drawn towards different 
 styles, techniques and designs. So all the design team have input,
 each has been asked to pick out three cards that stand out to them and why.


 The cards getting the most votes will be featured on our winners post
 and the other cards will then be listed under 'Top Pick' and 'Honourable Mention'.
